Chippenham Conservative Association Political Supper Club
Friday 10th May 2019 at the King’s Arms, Market Place, Melksham, SN12 6EX
7 for 7.30 pm
At this event we welcome not one but two speakers, Flick Drummond and Andrew Sharpe, who are key leaders of the Conservative Policy Forum, CPF for short. CPF is the Party’s process for connecting the Voluntary Party with National Policy making and represents an exciting opportunity for grass roots members to influence the direction of our Party’s policy for the future. Flick and Andrew will explain how and why we should get involved and how the process makes a difference.
Flick Drummond is the Voluntary Director of CPF and was the MP for Portsmouth from 2015 to 2017. Andrew Sharpe is Vice Chairman of CPF and also Chairman of the Party National Convention, which is effectively the parliament of the Voluntary Party. Andrew also sits on the Board of the Party as Deputy Chairman. Whilst the prime purpose of this event is to hear about CPF, to have two senior members of the Voluntary Party with us is surely timely and will no doubt be an opportunity for wider discussion too.
